Welcome to Island Fever!

 Living on Long Island many people feel as if they have “island fever.” Many people feel confined living on Long Island. People are used to routines. They do the same things, the same days…over and over again. It gets extremely boring. Trying new things is always fun and could be a good experience depending on what you make of it! Island Fever brings all us Long Islanders good places to go out strictly on Long Island. This could help the routines come to an end and new things will start to emerge! 

Categories that are mainly included on this blog are “Wine and Dine Places”, “Casual Places”, “Dance/Nightlife Places”, and "Recreational Fun." 

 It is also tells the reader whether the location of this specific place is in Nassau or Suffolk county. Each section will offer the reader places on Long Island and what they have to offer. This is extremely convenient for people because it gives the readers ideas as what they can do on the Island and if it is for them. This hopefully can help the ones who make last minute plans! Some of the posts up here will be places that I've personally tried while others are not.  Each week I am going to post new places that I have tried so I can give you guys my own personal opinion and I will also have "Featured This Week" post that I will do weekly. The "Featured This Week" section will be places that have been talked well spoken of so that people can see what the hype is all about! I encourage that you all leave comments for other people as well so they know what to expect.

 Posts under “Wine and Dine Places” will have posts about certain resturants. There will also be pictures and information about this resturant as well as what they have to offer whether it be a meal or drink that they are known for! Wine and Dine Places will offer the wine and dine’s location, a link to the menu or the menu posted, and specific deals if there are any.

For Casual Places the same exact concept will exist except it will be different types of places for the most part and most likely a little bit cheaper.

Under Dance/Nightlife Places there will be pictures of the location so people can get a feel for it and see if this is where they want to be spending there night. But posted I will leave cover charges, events if any, and drink specials. 

Lastly I will post fun things for you guys to do this summer so your not left at home bored! Having all of this available will definitely guide other people when deciding on where to go. I hope I am able  to introduce  you guys to good time at new places !!
